How do you manage stress?
The Corona virus pandemic challenged businesses across the Philippines. Alongside the health crisis, sales were affected, and many companies had to make difficult decisions to survive.

Prior the shutdown, we we’re set on having our 2nd branch. But things have turned the other way. We reduced our workforce, and employees had to adjust to lighter workloads as we tried to manage overhead. By March 2020, many businesses had shut down. The situation spread fear and uncertainty, and stress seemed to touch everyone.

During that time, I started reading books and running. Working from home meant food was always within reach, and I found myself tempted to eat more often. Gradually, I built a routine that helped me feel better: running and making time to read.

These days, I’ve added pickleball and working out at the gym.
It’s fun mixing anaerobic exercise with cardio… while pickleball gives me a chance to connect with other people. For me, moving my body is one way to clear my head and manage stress.

At the end of the day, I also try to stay grateful and remember my purpose. Prayer helps me do that. Those habits don’t make every challenge disappear, but they help me face each day with a little more balance and perspective.
