In the fast-paced world of real estate, stress used to push me toward unhealthy habits — lighting a cigarette after a tough day or pouring a drink to unwind after closing a big deal. I loved the thrill of success, but it often came at the cost of rest and family time.
Over the years, I’ve learned that sustainable success comes from balance. I’ve entered what I call my wellness era. These days, I trade old vices for sports — a round of pickleball, a few sets of badminton, or a friendly basketball game to recharge both body and mind. It’s a reminder that growth doesn’t stop, and taking care of yourself is part of the journey.
I also admire one of my associates who’s made little changes — cigarettes for vapes, Emperador for a lighter drink, and all-you-can-eat meals for meaningful conversations over Korean buffet. Small steps, big shifts.
I share random answers on the WordPress prompt, as means of taking away the stress of thinking and strategizing with the challenges of the business of real estate at www.abbarealty.com.ph.
