Her visit was more than just a routine check—it was part of our commitment to both the landlord and future residents, guaranteeing the unit remains competitive and appealing in the market.

Our Move-Out Process

Before relisting the property, our team carries out a detailed walkthrough and records a video update for the landlord. This provides transparency, peace of mind, and a clear record of the unit’s condition. During this period, we also strategize on maximizing the property’s appeal—comparing similar units in the community, identifying trends, and suggesting improvements to boost rental value.

Move-Out Inspection Checklist

Here’s a look at the key steps we follow to ensure your property is ready for its next tenant:

General Condition

•  Check walls, ceilings, and floors for damage or stains
•  Test all lights and electrical outlets
•  Inspect doors, locks, and windows
•  Ensure smoke detectors are working

Kitchen

•  Verify appliance functionality (stove, refrigerator, microwave, etc.)
•  Inspect cabinetry for cleanliness and repairs needed
•  Check for plumbing leaks under the sink

Bathroom

•  Confirm that faucets, showers, and toilets work properly
•  Inspect tiles and grout for cracks or mold
•  Ensure adequate ventilation

Bedroom & Living Area

•  Check for any furniture left behind
•  Clean and sanitize air-conditioning unit(s)
•  Test all light fixtures

Overall Cleanliness

•  Remove all personal items and rubbish
•  Deep-clean all surfaces

Amenities and Add-ons

•  Ensure access cards and keys are properly labeled and returned
•  Suggest potential upgrades (Wi-Fi, smart locks, extra storage, etc.)

After completing this process, we review current market conditions and recent upgrades in other Brio Tower units to recommend further improvements—whether minor renovations, furnishing upgrades, or new appliances—to help your unit stand out to prospective tenants.
